Southside Academic Team Page

Welcome to the home of the 2007 7A State Champion Southside Quiz Bowl, 6 time Arkansas Science Bowl, and Frequent State Champion KMO teams.

Practice is in Mr. Adams' room, room 128 on the following schedule:

Monday 3:30-5:00 Sophomore/new members or Science Bowl (during December and January)

Tuesday 3:30-5:00 Varsity Practice

Thursday 3:30-5:00 Full Team Practice

Students are expected to simply let Mr. Adams know when they will miss practice. Students are encouraged to be active in as many activities at Southside, and Mr. Adams just wants to know when a conflict arises. Be aware that as the time nears for selection of the varsity team members for Science Bowl and Quiz Bowl, that one of the criteria is attendance to practice.
